Responsibilities:

  • Develop, document, maintain and improve development, processes and procedures
  • Responsible for implementing the customer’s technical roadmap and related development projects
  • Provide feedback on customer’s technical requirements to team members

Test Engineer

This position reports to the Plant Manager and will oversee full spectrum of Test and Debug functions of a new manufacturing plant in Johor

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all manufacturing test issues which include test system setup, evaluation, commissioning, operating test instruction for production, test instrument/test system calibration, special test setup, environment control and safety compliances during product testing, test documentations and records retention and all other manufacturing test related operational issues.
  • Work on continuous test yield improvements in all test aspects and to provide the maximum test coverage and test capacity, with the fastest uptime and highest quality of production test output
  • Troubleshoot Test System and assure Test Systems are designed for tester ability and industrialized for production use which are ergonomically and to strife for almost zero downtime.
  • Support other cross-functional departments and customers in test evaluations, meeting delivery commitments or to drive for closure of customer requests & issues
  • Responsible for test instrument out of tolerance specifications issues, to fix and perform corrective action if necessary and to ensure the traceability and back-up of all test-logs and test records.
  • Ensure the manufacturing test process and test operations comply with the required company Manufacturing Test Standards (MTS) within a safe, non-hazardous operating environment
  • Ensure products tested comply with the minimum required test specification and custom test requirements and is appropriate for each customer
  • Record, track, backup and perform changes whenever necessary to ensure compliances
  • Debug test failure units, customers’ return units and rework activities
  • Manage debug Work In Progress (WIP) inventories at minimal level
  • Any other duties assigned from time to time

Requirements :

  • Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
  • 5 years of experience in a PCBA manufacturing environment, with relevant experiences in the test operations of In-Circuit Testers, Functional Testers, Burn-In Racks/Chamber Tests, System/Box level Test Configurations.
  • Experienced in analog & digital circuit theory, statistical analysis tools; possess keen analytical and troubleshooting skills during failure analysis at system level and down to device electronics board.
  • Possess some knowledge of operating the basic measurement instruments (such as digital oscilloscope, spectrum analyzers, power meters etc.) with some knowledge of the various types of test fixtures design and of automated, robotic test systems and methodologies.
  • Possess relevant skills in circuit theory, programming (both understanding and writing) and statistical analysis
  • Mandarin speaking is an advantage due to the need to communicate with Chinese speaking stakeholders

Production Superintendent

This position reports to the Plant Manager and will oversee full spectrum of Test and Debug functions of a new manufacturing plant in Johor

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee production operations, ensuring all production deadlines are met
  • Plan and coordinate quality control and safety standards, ensuring efficiency of production.
  • Establish standards, policies, and protocols for common practices within the production process
  • Manage production schedules, manage manpower requirements, supervise and train production team
  • Administers and ensures compliance with the Quality System requirements
  • Tracks and reports daily production and drives improvements where necessary, in order to achieve better production capability and product flow.
  • Track, analyze, forecast, and report on budgets and goals.

Requirements :

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in a related field
  • Good exposure and knowledge in production planning and manpower control

EQHS Engineer (Environment, Quality, Health & Safety)

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Company’s QMS certification
  • Maintain compliance with all QMS ISO standard and procedures

The Job Role:

  • Develop strategy and define product roadmap and specifications for Aztech’s range of lighting products
  • Manage the product lifecycle from launch to EOL
  • Conduct market research, study customer’s needs and competitor’s analysis
  • Work with external partners to understand latest technological trends and direction
  • Work with R&D to translate customer’s needs to technical specifications
  • Craft product positioning and go-to-market strategy for each product
  • Work with sales and marketing to drive successful product launches, ensuring consistent and relevant positioning for different markets and customer segments
  • Conduct product training to sales team
  • Monitor post-launch demand and make adjustments where needed
  • Conduct cost analysis and prepare cost down plan
  • Prepare documentation such as PMB and other internal communication materials to ensure stakeholders are updated with regards to new products and product updates

Requirements:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Engineering, Business or related field
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, with strong technical knowledge of lighting products in the international markets
  • In-depth knowledge of purchasing behavior and technology development within the lighting industry
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to work with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent command of English and Mandarin is necessary as the role will be required to work with Mandarin speaking stakeholders in China
  • Travelling will be necessary for this role
