The Aztech VDSL1005ER VDSL2 4-Port Ethernet Residential Gateway uses complete Broadcom solution that fully complies with VDSL/VDSL2-DMT standard. Aztech VDSL1000ER also provides both hardware and firmware backward compatible support to ADSL2 and ADSL2+. The VDSL2 4-Port Ethernet Residential Gateway will be able to support up to 100Mbps downstream, and 50Mbps upstream, with the ability to transmit in both symmetric and asymmetric modes.

Targeted at the residential and SOHO users that desires high quality triple play services, Aztech VDSL1000ER is the ideal solution to provide a fast, secured and wired connection to broadband. Main features of this next generation gateway are, built-in VDSL/VDSL2 ready modem, intelligent routing functionality for multi-user access, double-secured firewall, 100Mbps fast Ethernet managed switch, and USB 2.0 host for attaching mass storage devices or printer.

Security is provided via a double Stateful Packet Inspection and NAT based firewall. Multiple-session VPN Pass-through and DMZ support provide additional security support for telecommuters as well as allow flexibility while maintaining security against malicious hackers. Choices of Dynamic DNS server give users the flexibility of hosting a web or an FTP server with various domain names.
