The Aztech V500DS-S1 is a stand-alone Skype DECT phone that allows users to access both the PSTN and Skype network. The phone is implemented with an embedded Skype software, which incorporates most of the Skype features such as Voicemail, call forwarding and Skype-In/Skype-Out services

There is no need to have the Skype application running on a PC (No PC is required make Skype calls). Once the base station is connected to the Internet, the handset will become an embedded Skype device, and the user can make Skype-to-Skype calls, or Skype In/Out calls with fixed-line numbers.

The Skype user contact list is shown on a 1.5” colour handset screen. The users can easily see their contacts’ status and profiles, as well as their Skype credit balances for SkypeOut. New users can be added on the handset.

There are separate call lists for both the PSTN and Skype Calls, and the users can easily identity the call lists as either from PSTN or Skype. The phone has speakerphone, keypad backlight and polyphonic ring tones as standard features.

Aztech HS315-S1 Skype DECT Phone with SDA200 USB Dongle allows the user to make Skype and conventional phone calls on the PSTN with ease. The HS315-S1 Skype DECT Phone is a colour DECT with the Skype user interface built-in. When the SDA200 USB Dongle is plugged into the computer, the HS315-S1 Skype DECT Phone is transformed into a dual-mode phone that allows users to make Skype calls far way from the computer. Aztech SDA200 USB Dongle is easy to install as a USB driver is provided. It is already pre-registered with the HS315-S1 DECT phone. So no more pairing of devices are further required by the user.
